This third edition of The Assembly project addresses the themes of liberalism and identity politics on university campuses. The play is based on a December 2018 dinner held in College Park (Maryland) between four people of different cultural, political and social backgrounds during which they discussed issues that most divide them.
The Assembly – University of Maryland was created during a Porte Parole residency at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center.
