On May 26, 2025, Club sandwich mayonnaise made its first public appearance as part of BAnQ’s Lundis culturels series. This event offered a chance to present excerpts from the play to a wider audience and to open up a conversation about the process of creating documentary theatre.

Hosted by Eugénie Lépine-Blondeau, the evening featured readings performed by Manuelle Légaré, Sylvie De Morais Nogueira, Alice Pascual, and Étienne Pilon. These excerpts were interspersed with insightful exchanges with the artists and creators behind the project—François Bernier, Mathieu Gosselin, and Manuelle Légaré—who shared a behind-the-scenes look at the creation process of a Porte Parole-style documentary play.

True to Porte Parole tradition, the evening concluded with an open discussion—our signature “long table.” The audience was invited to share reactions, ask questions, and tell their own stories. It was a moment of collective intelligence, honest debate, and deep listening—the kind of exchange that only documentary theatre can spark.
