Porte Parole: The Pitch 2023-2024

Our call for projects opened a week ago!

You have until 15 November (23:59) to send us your project.

Over the past few years, Porte Parole has heard from many citizens who are keen to contribute to the debate. It is now possible to speak out thanks to our open call for projects, which aims to shed light on societal issues deserving of more attention.

The 5 selected participants will be supported over the course of 3 months in order to develop their documentary theatre concept into a 10 minute pitch. The candidates will then take to the stage at the Cabaret Lion d’Or on May 13th in order to share the beginnings of their investigation, as well as to have the opportunity to interact directly with our audience and jury. At the end of the evening, the jury will award one project a grant worth $10,000 in order to continue the development of the project, courtesy of the founding members of the Documentary Hub.

Beyond the competition aspect of the evening, the Porte Parole Pitch Event offers a real springboard for up and coming citizens and/or artists in documentary theatre, who are looking to make a difference and make a real impact on society.

Ready, set… PITCH!

Porte Parole is grateful to our donors for their support.
